Pelosi/Carney/Obama Care is Treason
My Democrat congressman, ultra-liberal Chris Carney, has joined forces with Nancy Pelosi once again, and President Obama – this time, finally remaking the United States in the image of a socialist nation.
Mr. Carney, Speaker Pelosi, and President Obama – you are all three guilty of high treason against the principles and sacred honor of our Founders, and against the collective blood of American soldiers who perished that this land would never become a place where choices, for the many, are determined by the powerful few.
As a father, I am deeply saddened that the actions of this week will result in my children inheriting a nation of rapidly eroding freedoms. November will come hard for those who have done this…

Let’s see if you are also against it when your child is 24 and in college and can stay on your healthcare instead of being forced to purchase their own healthcare.
So much for your Christian beliefs of helping others who are not fortunate enough as you to have healthcare. Would Jesus be against healthcare reform? Was Jesus so worried about his money?
The Greedy right wing comes out in force about healthcare…..as long as they have their healthcare they could care less about all of the people with none.

“a place where choices, for the many, are determined by the powerful few”
Mike, correct me if I’m wrong but this was voted on and passed by a majority…..right?
Your statement is not correct and actually how many lobbyists at a tune of +85 million $$$ tried to stop it….sounds like the powerful $$$$ lost out, not the freedom of the US Citizens.
Healthcare for all, after all….ALL Life is Precious not just the ones with healthcare

Frank, you’ve been one of my most faithful visitors! You’ve posted many things on my blog – and the one thing I can observe is that you and I have agreed on almost NOTHING since we’ve started this thing.
So answer this… why all of a sudden do trust me so much?

Frank,
I heard a prayer once that went something like this :
Dear Lord, I am doing fine so far today, I have not lied, cheated, thought malicious thoughts, fought with others, slandered anyone, thought angry thoughts. I’m about to get out of bed now, so I’m really going to need your help. I am a Christian and I sin everyday all day just like every other person who breaths and eats.
We are all broken people and ALL of us, including you Frank, can not live a perfect life. If we have the constitution to do so, looking in the mirror we are all emotional, irrational, self centered and very intolerant of others.
God forgive us all.
That said, while I would have stated my opinion in a more tactful manner, the intent of Mikes post is very relevant. I would love to see poverty eradicated, free health care for all, money tress growing in everyone’s back yard , no war, suffering or pain. Unfortunately the reality is we as a human race have messed things up so badly, these lofty aspirations will never happen in our broken world.
The health care bill, while admirable philosophically, is simply going to further cripple and already limping economy. The price tag of this legislation is not free, someone has to pay the piper and I’m not completely sure this country has the ability to do so.

We already give aid to the poorest among us who can’t afford health insurance (the E.R.) as well as those who just decide not to afford it. It would have been much smarter to provide a way to legitimize that. What we can’t afford is this horrible new arm of the federal government.

“This morning I was awakened by my alarm clock powered by electricity generated by the public power monopoly regulated by the US department of energy. I then took a shower in the clean water provided by the municipal water utility. After that, I turned on the TV to one of the FCC-regulated channels to see what the National Weather Service (of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration) determined the weather was going to be like (using satellites launched and maintained by the National Aeronatics and Space Administration). I watched this while eating my breakfast of US Department of Agriculture-inspected food and taking the drugs by which have been determined as safe by the Food and Drug Administration.
At the appropriate time as regulated by the US Congress and kept accurate by the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the US Naval Observatory, I get into my National Highway Traffic Safety Administration-approved automobile and set out to work on the roads built by the local, state, and federal departments of transportation, possibly stopping to purchase additional fuel of a quality level determined and tested regularly by the Environmental Protection Agency, using legal tender issued by the Federal Reserve Bank. On the way out the door I deposit any mail I have to be set out via the US Postal Service and drop the kids off at the public school.
After spending another day not being maimed or killed at work thanks to the workplace regulations imposed by the Department of Labor and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, enjoying another two meals which again do not kill me because of the USDA, I drive my NHTSA car back home on the DOT roads, to my house which has not burned down in my absence thanks to the state and local building codes, fire marshal’s inspection during government-overseen construction (and possibly since), and the vigilant watch of my city and county Fire Departments. I find my home has not been plundered of all its valuables thanks to the cooperation of the city, county, and state Police Departments.
I then log on to the Internet (which was developed by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Administration) and post on freerepublic.com and Fox News forums about how government involvement in healthcare is SOCIALISM which is BAD because the government can’t do anything right.”

“do you trust me so much?”
Not sure where you are going with this but you do need to be exposed for not what you portray is true…….be real Mike, stop hiding

Frank, while you were so distracted by trying to ‘expose me,’ you have inadvertently also PROMOTED me. And that’s how I KNOW you really do trust me deep down, and I sincerely want to thank you. As someone who WAS a healthcare executive, and is currently very well connected politically, I’d say I stand an excellent chance of landing a job within the new healthcare format.
So allow me to introduce myself. I’m Mike. I’m your government caseworker, and will be the final voice of approval for all your family’s healthcare needs. It was nice of you to hand that role over to me.
I also want to thank Rep. Carney, Speaker Pelosi, and Pres. Obama for passing that healthcare bill a few years back, even though it wasn’t the ‘Single Payer’ gov’t-only healthcare plan they wanted at the time. But we all knew that once we had our foot in the door, it would only be a matter of time until we became the sole healthcare insurer/provider of choice in the country. Yes… I know it seems intimidating to now have an ‘insurance company’ with a police force, guns, prisons, and an IRS to reposess your belongings because you didn’t pay your mandatory premium. But I promise to be fair…
So you’re here to see me… why? Oh yes, your mother’s kidney dialysis denial because she’s over 65. Fill out this form. We don’t discriminate on the basis of race, religion, or sexual orientation… so that’s good!
Even though mom falls outside of the approved guidelines, I’ll see if the Congressman can pull some strings. Talk to you next week!
Congressman Smith? Mike here… hey, first of all, thanks for appointing me to this job. Glad I supported you in the last election! Hey, there’s a Frank ### here in your district, has POA for his mom, who needs dialysis but is over 65. Can you pull one of those exceptions like you did for your campaign manager’s wife?
Well, no… Frank is not a Republican. In fact, our background check showed he supported your opponent last election – gave him $500! Not only that, Frank says some pretty scary things about you on some A.W.E. blog…
His mom? Smoked… Not only that, she is 50 lbs overweight. Our visitation caseworkers, when filling out her ‘lifestyle profile’ also observed several bottles of soda in their pantry inspection, along with tastycakes and potato chip bags… all indicating that she did NOT follow through with her 1500 calorie/day mandate for the over-65 population.
What’s that? OK, I’ll tell him.
Frank? Yeah, it’s Mike, your caseworker. I’m sorry, but there’s nothing the Congressman can do. He’s bound by the same laws you are.
What? You want to pay CASH for mom’s treatments? Frank, off the record, I’ll pretend I didn’t hear you say that. You KNOW you can end up in jail if you ‘influence’ a doctor through the direct payment of cash – which was determined by the Supreme Court a discriminatory practice favoring the wealthy.
Oh, and about your back problem… we’ve determined that your pain medications will be denied because you’ve refused the recommended spinal procedure.
Chiropractor? Please, Frank! You KNOW that 2 years ago chiropractic care was determined to not be a legitimate medical discipline. (Glad we finally de-licensed those quacks!) So when can we set up that spinal procedure?
Oh, and Frank? Thanks for the promotion…

Mike why do you bother ?
Mike

I bother because, for most people, the choice of a ‘government health plan’ is easy. All you have to do is FEEL badly. It even seems moral (or Christian), and I understand those emotions, so I’m not faulting Frank for the way he feels. But FEELING sorry for the afflicted is an emotional conclusion, not an intellectual one – without any deference to the horrid realities of translating your sorrowful emotions into government empowerment – instead of a PERSONAL responsibility.
Our founders recognized that personal hardships must never translate to beaurocratic opportunity – which is why we as a nation, enacted a ‘third sector’ of society (almost an exclusively Amercian concept) – the non-profit, charitable, & philanthropic sector (which includes churches). They realized that it was the inate goodness of a society that would ultimately sustain it, and that government insertion into personal problems ultimately led to the tyrannical empowerment of the few over the many. Centralization ALWAYS requries the exchange of liberties.
Ben Franklin said that a nation who would exchange liberty for security deserved neither. I would add also that neither liberty nor security would be accomplished after the exchange took place.
Love or hate the Rockefellers and Bill Gates, they earned what they have – and I have no rightful claim upon it. But let’s also observe the BILLIONS these familes have turned back outward toward their America. Your head would spin to know the depth of their contributions.
Every society needs a minister of compassion. But it resides with the churches, non-profits, and private philanthropists whose goodness will sustain the weak. It’s MY job, personally – NOT the ‘government’s.’
If Frank wants to subject the intimacies of his family’s medical care to the realities of politics, so be it. I submit that he, along with millions of unwitting Americans, know not what they do.
He will resent my empowerment as much as I will resent his…

Are any of these conversations or the quarreling pointing or leading people to Christ? To the Gospel? It seems like that is all that happens here. What is this about anyway?

as for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions.

Should it be green, or blue?
Eagles or Steelers?
Did Sandra Bullock REALLY deserve that Oscar?
Those are quarrels.
I’m not quarreling. I’m warring.
Warring against the slaughter of innocent unborn children on American soil.
Warring against the euthanizing of the sick and elderly deemed too burdensome to exist.
Warring to defend the freedoms for which our Fathers and soldiers pledged their sacred honor, and even their blood.
Warring against the injustice that a few should make choices for the many.
And finally, warring for YOUR freedom to speak of the life-saving Gospel of Jesus Christ.
I’m not of the persuasion that peace at any cost is a virtue. This nation, my children, and the Gospel of Christ mean too much to politely acquiesce the court of public opinion to those who would perpetrate against them.

Mike, you have a vivid imagination…..I’m sure you would’ve been against social security at it’s inception and also against medicaid when that came out…..so much for thinking about helping other people which are less fortunate….hmmm…I think helping people is a “Christian ” thing to do but you would rather promote fear of a socialist society that isn’t going to happen rather than consider people that need healthcare.
Next time you start your preaching consider all the other people that really need help instead of your fear mongering.
While your at it, why not write a song to end the WARS now…that would actually fund the healthcare bill

Have a good day!

Once again a very intresting issue. Oh where, Oh where have all the Americans gone. Oh where, oh where could they be?I Just wish the people of this country would have just a little bit of a clue of what our constitution really says , and what our founding fathers were about. Here are some quotes from Thomas Jefferson ( I hope and guess you all know who he was ). ” The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who are not.” ” I predict future happiness for Americans , if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people, under the pretense of taking care of them.” “My reding of history convinces me that most bad governmenets results from to much government.” To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas of wich he disbelieves and abhores is sinful and tyrannical.” So does any of that sound or look familiar? Amazing and very sad how something spoken so long ago by one of the founding fathers has come true. Also as I have said before we are a “Republic” look up and read the constitution. It might amaze you what is in there!! I just can’t wait till the discusion of illegal immigration comes up that should be very intresting , and I’m sure uneducated too.

Jim, you quote a great patriot but how about other things old Tommy J would be mad about? Here’s some other quotes of Mr Jefferson
“The spirit of this country is totally adverse to a large military force. ” I guess Tommy wouldn’t like our military and the way we invade or instill democracy.
or how about this one
“The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first and only object of good government. ”
and this one should ruffle your feathers
“Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear. ”
Tommy J has some good ones

Frank, I guess our Govt. Should listen to our founding fathers more. “The care of human life and happiness, and not its destruction, is the first and only object of good govt.” They really blew that one!I guess from that quote we have a bad govt. considering there stand on abortion. And going against the will of the people. Hopefully everyone has heard that Obama has gone back on his orignal thought and admits that the health care will cost us all more , and that costs will go up not down. Suprise! Can’t wait to see everyones face when they get thier W-2 forms in 2012 and see how the health care spent by thier employer is added to thier income and taxed. For anyone who loves all of this administrations plans I advise you to move either to Detroit(they have been Democrat controlled for aprox. 50 years in all stages of Govt. and boy is that the place to live.)or Europe they really got it going on too. In closing I have know Idea what your Quotes had to do with the subject being discussed ,but such is life.

you are blinded by your righteousness and you bring up abortion yet again just like all of the religious nuts! You want freedom and less govt but at the same time you want abortion banned? So much for freedom of choice , for women that is!
Next you’ll be bringing up what you need to do to be saved…as if you already are and need to do nothing more!

Frank,I Guess If any of us see someone who is not what we think is normal or a benifit to society. We can just pull out a gun and shoot them no questions asked. After all its MY choice. And as far as the women having choice it strikes me funny how the same women can loose a baby in a car accident and then want manslaughter charges brought up becauase it was not there choicethe baby died, or another one, how a friend I know had an abortion and then two years later had a miscarriage(which it is proven there is a higher risk after an abortion) and wanted everyone to feel sorry for her because this time it wasn’t her choice. As far as being blinded by “my” righteousness ,not so. Jesus said “there is none righteous no not one” therefore that discredits me and also The Bible calls my righteousness nothing but filthy rags.As I said before on this blog it is God that should decide when a life ends.I won’t bring up what you need to be saved , you can read it in the Bible the answer is there. As far as me being saved we shall find out in the end. Jesus said,”For he that endures to the end shall be saved”I have plenty more to do,as we do. We all must press toward the mark like Paul said.As far as being a religious nut as long as I am screwed to the right bolt it’s good for me.Most people would question who the actual nuts are in this world. Here is something to think on.What difference is there in what an abortion doctor does, and what Charles Manson did? So how does Detroit sound and look?Look it up,wow were those policies great.Remember to look at yourW-2, hopefully you dont have employer paid insurance that the government considers a”cadillac plan” which is any plan costing over $10,000,hmmm that sounds to me like any plan that is actually good insurance. If this health care is so good why doesn’t Congress drop what they have and join in?
